DREAM
Dallas, TX • Jeremy Biggers
This mural has a special place in my heart because while it is of my daughter, its location, Deep Ellum, is where I first fell in love with murals and public art. So, seeing this mural refreshed to live for years to come is a really big deal for me.

Jeremy painted the mural of his 4-year-old daughter Tesla in Washington DC originally, and the wall was painted over almost immediately. He repainted the mural, with his little girl turned superhero, in Deep Ellum in his hometown of Dallas, Texas. He wanted to represent a child who hasn’t lived long enough to become cynical, to remind people to see themselves as superheroes and believe their own mythos, to never give up and keep going.
